Here at Daily Prayer Ministries, our mission is to share the Word of God, to encourage all followers of Christ, and to give Him all the glory He is due. We seek to accomplish this by creating an online community of faith where both believers and non-believers can learn more about Christ and build each other up. Some of our current ministries include providing a daily devotion, scripture verses, morning prayer, evening prayer, and Bible studies. We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and that it contains truth with the power to change lives. Hebrews 4:12: says, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The Bible is the most powerful work of literature we can ever read, as well as the most rewarding. Whenever we open our Bibles, God can use His Word to reveal Himself to us. That’s why it’s so important to not only glance at scripture every once and awhile, but to meditate on it day and night. And so we want to provide easy access to verses of scripture every day, along with devotions and more comprehensive studies that allow people to dive deep into the Word. We also believe in the power of prayer. In Mark 11:24, Jesus says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” There is an abundance of needs in our world today. Sickness, violence, political turmoil – it’s not difficult to look around and see just how lost and broken our world is. But in the midst of all of this, we have a lifeline to a faithful and almighty God – prayer. When we pray earnestly, believing and trusting in His sovereignty, and surrendering to His will, He is willing to answer us. Nothing is too big or small for Him. So, each morning and evening, we make it a priority to put all other things on hold to pause and pray for the needs of our online community. Finally, we do all these things because we believe that God is worthy. Ultimately, nothing that we do in our ministry is for our own glory, but for the glory of God alone. He is our Creator, Savior, and Redeemer – the only one who can satisfy the deepest desires of our lives. And so, it is our goal to share His goodness with the world, especially with those who have not heard the name of Jesus. We want the lost to find salvation in Christ; we want believers to be strengthened in faith; and we want, most of all, to give Him all the praise and honor He is due. Psalm 105:1: “Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!”
